What Should I Blog About?
I get this many questions ton when people are thinking about starting a business too. What quite business should I start? do that quick 10-minute exercise:
• Take a sheet of paper
• You draw a line down the middle, so there are two columns
• You within the left column take 5-minutes and write down everything you're enthusiastic to
• You within the proper column take 5-minutes and write down everything you're an expert on
• You circle everything that overlaps within the 2 lists.

The overlap is known as your ‘Zone of Genius‘. It’s where you are taking something you recognize about (you’re an expert in) which you would be enthusiastic about writing. Here’s the thing – if you select a topic you’re only mildly interested in, you won’t stick with it. It’s a waste of a while, and you won’t achieve success.
I am an expert cake baker, but I only bake 1–2 cakes a year. I’m not that enthusiastic about baking. I like better to used to be once I used to be single and had nothing better to undertake to on the weekends. it'd not add abreast of behalf of me to start out out a cake blog because I’d likely flame out and quit.

If you have an interest or many passions, wouldn’t you enjoy learning more about it? and thus the method of learning would be like and fun, right? It wouldn’t be a drag. I also wish to happen to enjoy the business side of things and learning the thanks to reaching more people so I can help them too. I ‘started’ my blog in January 2015. once I prefer to mention start, I got WordPress acknowledged on Bluehost. I spent my first six weeks trying to make my site look amazing. I didn't write one blog post for nearly two months. I spent the whole time most of making the graphics look nice, deciding the structure, the menus. I revised my logo about this 53 times to make it perfect. What I didn't do was write anything. I wasted plenty of some time. Finally, after Valentine's Day rolled around, I said to myself – when are you ever going to write something and publish it!
Perfection is the Enemy of fantastic. My blog today looks like nothing like it does once I started. In fact, I most completely overhauled it with a replacement look. The six weeks of affection to work I put in eighteen months ago has been trashed. Just write. Write anything. People are most curious, which they need to urge to know you. If you've to love to write down what you almost certainly did this weekend and file it under your My Life folder on your blog – that’s great!
